“Dangerous Health and Safety Building Code Issue: Very significant and against US Building Code Laws at the Conrad Midtown hotel in that many rooms have adjoining doors with a 2 foot gap in between the doors with no inside handle and therefore no way out once shut. My wife accidently went through door thinking it was the bathroom, door shut, no handle, and she was stuck screaming for help for almost an hour in total darkness, trapped between two doors @11PM at night. After an hour of screaming for help someone eventually found her. This is a tremendous safety hazard at Conrad New York Midtown. Surprised the NYC building inspectors have not required these doors to IMMEDIATELY be fixed to prevent customers from being entrapped (more like entombed between the walls), this is clearly a very dangerous health risk to overnight customers.”

“An excellent hotel with a perfect location. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they gave me valuable help in a personal contacting problem. The restaurant was under covid19-circumstances open only part-time but the buffet breakfast was very good and I recommend it warmly.”
